Balancing update


Hello itch.io,

thanks for the first feedback we got on our game. Building on these, we have released an updated version. The changes to this are as follows:

Improvements

  • Wave Composition
    • The way waves are composed has fundamentally changed. Before it was only possible to define what kind of bug and how many of them are in a wave. These spawned every half second. Now we can say much more clearly how quickly the bugs come and when.

Balancing

  • Balancing of Weapons
    • We compared the stats of all weapons and changed some values, to ensure that every weapon has its value.
  • Balancing of Waves
    • Using the new wave composition, the waves are kind of balanced now.
  • Balancing of Modules
    • Some modules were to weak. We changed that by making these modules much more better, like the damage modules.
  • Creep progression of hp bases now on curve. Before it was linear. That makes the early game a little bit more easier and the late game harder.

UI 

  • The targetters in selection panel of creeps was an unnecessary information for the player, we removed it
  • Critical Chance in selection panel is displayed correctly now, it was a way to high

BugFixes

  • Creeps could be killed multiple times by the shotgun
    • that happened, when two bullets did the final hit. As a result the bug respawned multiple times. To be fair, the player was also rewarded twice.
  • SickleBlades on the right side of a tower had a confused blade with a wrong base position
  • Pickaxes started sometimes to early because of a wrong distance calculation
  • Cars moved only inside of the car race tower if the track contains only two spots on the same y-axis.
